Here are the maximum dimensions for some common locations:

For an upper left chest design on a polo shirt, the maximum size is 4 inches x 4 inches.

Caps can have different dimensions depending on the hat type, but typically the maximum embroidery dimensions for the front of the hat are 5.5 inches wide by 2.25 inches tall.

If you’re considering a large embroidered jacket back, the maximum dimensions allowed are 10 x 10 inches.
